Screening for Plagiarism Policy

Ascendia: Journal of Economic and Business Advancement is strongly committed to maintaining academic integrity, originality, and ethical publishing practices in all submitted and published works. To ensure these standards, every manuscript undergoes a plagiarism screening before entering the peer review stage. The journal uses reliable plagiarism detection software to identify possible overlaps, similarities, or unoriginal content.

Manuscripts found to contain plagiarism, self-plagiarism, data fabrication, falsification, or other forms of academic misconduct will be immediately rejected. In cases of minor similarity, authors may be requested to revise and resubmit their work; however, serious violations will result in automatic rejection.

The acceptable similarity index threshold is below 20%, excluding references, quotations, and common academic phrases. Authors are fully responsible for ensuring that their manuscripts respect intellectual property rights and appropriately cite all sources used.

Through this policy, Ascendia aims to uphold ethical excellence and scholarly credibility, ensuring that every published article represents an original, rigorous, and meaningful contribution to the fields of economics, management, business, accounting, finance, and entrepreneurship.
