Artificial Intelligence (AI) Usage Policy

Ascendia: Journal of Economic and Business Advancement recognizes the increasing role of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies in supporting economic analysis, business research, management studies, financial decision-making, entrepreneurship, and academic publishing. Authors are permitted to use AI-assisted tools only as supportive instruments to enhance research activities and manuscript preparation while maintaining analytical integrity, transparency, and ethical responsibility.

AI tools may be utilized for purposes such as language editing, grammar improvement, translation assistance, reference organization, literature management, data visualization, statistical analysis support, coding assistance, business analytics, financial modeling support, market data processing, and manuscript organization. However, all economic interpretations, business analyses, managerial insights, theoretical arguments, empirical findings, conclusions, and ethical responsibilities remain entirely under the responsibility of the authors.

Authors must transparently disclose the use of AI technologies within the methodology section, acknowledgments, or a dedicated AI disclosure statement in the manuscript. The disclosure should clearly identify the AI tool used and explain its specific purpose, scope, and contribution to the research process, including any assistance related to data analysis, business modeling, forecasting, or academic writing.

AI systems, generative AI tools, or automated technologies cannot be listed as authors or co-authors because they cannot assume responsibility for intellectual contributions, economic reasoning, managerial judgment, originality, data accuracy, research accountability, or compliance with publication ethics.

The editorial team of Ascendia: Journal of Economic and Business Advancement reserves the right to reject manuscripts containing fabricated economic or business data, manipulated financial information, misleading analytical outputs, undisclosed AI-generated content, inaccurate market interpretations, plagiarism, or any practices that violate research integrity and academic publication ethics.

Authors remain fully responsible for ensuring that submitted manuscripts present original scholarly contributions, maintain transparency in analytical methods, accurately report economic and business phenomena, comply with ethical research standards, and reflect the authors’ intellectual contributions in the fields of economics, business, management, and organizational advancement.
