This study examines the role of employees in integrating operational, marketing, customer service, and herbal education activities at PT Nona Aryanta Aryaguna Bali. A descriptive qualitative field-study design was applied during an internship conducted from 12 June to 28 August 2026. Data were collected through participant observation, work-activity notes, and documentation covering invoices, purchase orders, expenses, inventory records, order fulfillment, partner communication, digital marketing, and the Traditional Herbal Remedies Workshop. The findings show that employee roles are strongly cross-functional. Administrative accuracy supports transaction reliability, inventory control sustains order fulfillment, customer communication strengthens service quality, digital platforms extend promotional and educational reach, and workshops combine service delivery with herbal knowledge transfer. Key competencies developed include accuracy, time management, coordination, interpersonal communication, negotiation, public speaking, training, digital creativity, collaboration, and adaptability. Major challenges involve simultaneous workloads, documentation accuracy, and diverse workshop participants. These challenges are managed through task prioritization, document rechecking, early preparation, team coordination, and mentor consultation. The study concludes that cross-functional employee capability is essential for maintaining consistent operational performance, customer experience, and brand communication effectively in herbal service businesses.
