Open Access Policy

Essentia: Journal of Medical Practice and Research upholds a full open access policy. All published articles are freely available for anyone to read, download, distribute, cite, and share globally without subscription or access fees. This policy is intended to maximize the dissemination of medical and health sciences knowledge and to support global collaboration among clinicians, researchers, healthcare professionals, educators, and policymakers.

All works are published under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0). This license permits unrestricted use, distribution, reproduction, and adaptation of published content, provided that proper credit is given to the original work and that any derivative works are shared under the same license terms.

Essentia is fully committed to maintaining the highest standards of publication ethics and integrity. The journal follows the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) guidelines in addressing issues such as misconduct, data inaccuracies, redundant publication, plagiarism, or breaches of research integrity. This ethical framework applies to all parties involved in the publication process — authors, editors, peer reviewers, and the publisher (CV Scripta Intelektual Mandiri).

The editorial board ensures that every published manuscript upholds academic honesty, transparency, and scientific credibility.

Through this commitment to open access and ethical publishing, Essentia aims to enhance the visibility, accessibility, and impact of medical and health sciences research both nationally and internationally.
