Abstrak

This study analyzes cassava-based product development as an effort to increase added value and strengthen economic empowerment in Sukamulya Village, Mekarjaya District, Pandeglang Regency. The activity employed a participatory approach through observation, education, demonstrations, hands-on practice, mentoring, and evaluation. Results show that cassava processing not only produces ready-to-consume food products but also introduces the community to quality control, packaging, labeling, cost recording, pricing, and marketing. The economic calculation scenario indicates a production cost of IDR 299,000 for 50 packages, a production cost of IDR 5,980 per package, a selling price of IDR 8,000, revenue of IDR 400,000, and a break-even point of approximately 24 packages. These figures function as an economic learning model and require verification using transaction records. The activity provided practical experience supporting skills formation and business understanding. Local and digital marketing may expand market access when production capacity and product quality are maintained consistently. Program sustainability requires organized management, production and sales records, legal compliance, food safety, product diversification, and continued mentoring so the activity can develop into an independent sustainable community enterprise based on local resources.
