Focus and Scope

Custodia: Journal of Legal, Political, and Humanistic Inquiry is a peer-reviewed academic journal dedicated to publishing high-quality scholarly works in the broad fields of law, political science, and the humanities. The journal serves as a platform for academics, researchers, practitioners, and students to present original studies, theoretical analyses, and empirical research that contribute to a deeper understanding of legal systems, political dynamics, and humanistic values in contemporary society.

Submissions may be written in English or Indonesian and are expected to demonstrate academic rigor, originality, ethical integrity, and relevance to current issues in legal, political, and humanistic studies. The scope of Custodia includes, but is not limited to, research on constitutional law, civil and criminal law, human rights, governance, public policy, political theory, democracy, social justice, philosophy, ethics, history, culture, and other topics that intersect law, politics, and the humanities.

By encompassing these areas, Custodia aims to promote academic excellence, foster critical inquiry, and strengthen the role of legal, political, and humanistic scholarship in addressing social, ethical, and institutional challenges at both national and international levels.
