Socialization of the Dangers of Bullying as an Effort to Prevent Violence at Muhammadiyah Gantiwarno Elementary School

This community service program aims to broaden students' understanding of the dangers of bullying, foster a positive school culture, and prevent violence between students. The activity took place at Muhammadiyah Gantiwarno Elementary School and was attended by fifth-grade students. The methods used included obtaining permission from the principal, observing, developing materials, and implementing a socialization of the dangers of bullying. The material was delivered through lectures, question-and-answer sessions, and the awarding of door prizes. The socialization included an introduction to the definition of bullying, types of bullying, examples of bullying language, negative impacts, how to deal with bullying, reflections for bullies, and reasons not to bully. The results of this socialization had a positive impact, increasing students' understanding of the dangers of bullying. This socialization was designed as an effective preventative measure to create a safe, comfortable, and violence-free learning environment.
