Artificial Intelligence (AI) Usage Policy

Scripta Technica: Journal of Engineering and Applied Technology allows the use of artificial intelligence (AI)-assisted technologies solely as supporting tools in the preparation of manuscripts. Authors may utilize AI tools for language refinement, grammar checking, visualization assistance, coding support, or figure generation.

However, all scientific interpretations, analyses, conclusions, and final manuscript validations remain entirely the responsibility of the authors.

Authors are required to clearly disclose the use of AI tools within the methodology section, acknowledgments, or a dedicated statement in the manuscript. The disclosure should explain the type of AI tool used and its specific purpose during manuscript preparation.

AI tools cannot be listed as authors or co-authors because they cannot assume responsibility for the integrity, originality, and accountability of scholarly work.

The editorial board reserves the right to reject manuscripts that misuse AI-generated content, contain fabricated data, manipulated images, or violate publication ethics standards.
