Peer Review Process

All authors are required to submit a Statement of Ethical Compliance, which can be downloaded from the official website of Scripta Technica: Journal of Engineering and Applied Technology. Please note that this document is not a manuscript template; all article submissions must strictly conform to the official template provided on the journal’s website.

Manuscripts that pass the initial editorial screening and are deemed eligible for peer review will be subject to an Article Processing Charge (APC). No APC will be applied to manuscripts that do not advance to the peer review stage due to failing the preliminary editorial assessment.

The editorial workflow begins with:

  • A technical formatting review

  • A plagiarism check conducted by the editorial team

Manuscripts that meet the required standards will be forwarded to two independent reviewers for comprehensive evaluation based on the following criteria:

  • Scientific rigor and methodological soundness

  • Originality and contribution to the field

  • Technical clarity and logical coherence

  • Relevance to the journal’s focus and scope

Scripta Technica applies a double-blind peer review system, where both authors and reviewers remain anonymous to ensure unbiased and objective evaluation.

Editorial decisions—including acceptance, minor or major revisions, or rejection—will be made based on reviewers’ recommendations and the final judgment of the editorial board.

If revisions are required, authors will be given a specific deadline to resubmit their revised manuscript along with a detailed response to reviewers’ comments.

Authors may contact the editorial office for updates or clarification about the status of their manuscript during the review process. The editorial team is committed to maintaining transparency, fairness, and efficiency at every stage of the review.
