All manuscripts submitted to Scripta Economica: Journal of Economics, Management, and Accounting, published by CV Scripta Intelektual Mandiri, must represent original scholarly work and be entirely free from all forms of plagiarism, including:

  • Direct copying

  • Mosaic plagiarism (patchwriting)

  • Self-plagiarism (duplicate publication)

Authors bear full responsibility for ensuring that their manuscripts do not contain:

  • Improperly attributed quotations

  • Paraphrased content without proper acknowledgment

  • Substantial duplication of previously published work without explicit permission

As part of our strong commitment to academic integrity, the editorial board conducts rigorous plagiarism checks using advanced detection software such as Turnitin.

Any manuscript found to:

  • Contain a high level of textual similarity

  • Show evidence of academic dishonesty
    Will be rejected before entering the peer review process.

Author Recommendations and Consequences

Authors are strongly encouraged to:

  • Perform a preliminary plagiarism check using reliable tools

  • Attach a similarity report at the time of submission (optional but encouraged)

Violations of this anti-plagiarism policy may lead to:

  • Immediate rejection of the manuscript

  • Retraction of published work

  • Notification to the authors' affiliated institutions (if necessary)
