Peer Review Process

Ethical Statement, Article Fee, and Editorial Process

Authors are required to submit an ethics eligibility declaration, which can be downloaded from the official website of Scripta Humanika: Journal of Social Humanities and Education. This document is not part of the manuscript, as authors are required to follow the official article template available on the journal’s website.

Articles that pass the editorial selection and are declared suitable for publication will be subject to an article processing charge (APC). However, if the manuscript does not pass the initial editorial screening and is not sent for peer review, no fees will be charged to the author.

The editorial process begins with format verification and a similarity check conducted by the editorial team. The manuscript is then sent to two peer reviewers for substantive and technical evaluation through a blind review process, where neither the authors nor the reviewers are aware of each other's identities.

The reviewers’ assessment becomes the basis for the acceptance or rejection of the manuscript. Authors are allowed to consult with the editorial board regarding the progress of their manuscript at any stage.
