Peer Review Process

All authors submitting manuscripts to Inventa: Journal of Science, Technology, and Innovation are required to complete a Statement of Ethical Compliance, available for download on the journal’s official website. This statement confirms adherence to publication ethics and research integrity. It is not a manuscript template; all submissions must follow the journal’s official author guidelines.

The editorial workflow begins with an initial screening conducted by the editorial team. This stage includes checks for:

  • Formatting compliance

  • Completeness of submission

  • Plagiarism detection

  • Alignment with the journal’s focus on science, technology, and innovation, including applied sciences, engineering, information and communication technology, materials science, renewable energy, and related areas.

Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are forwarded to peer review. Inventa employs a double-blind peer review system, in which both authors and reviewers remain anonymous. This process ensures fairness, objectivity, and confidentiality.

Each manuscript is evaluated by at least two independent reviewers based on the following criteria:

  • Originality, novelty, and contribution to the fields of science, technology, and innovation

  • Rigor and clarity of methodology, theoretical or conceptual framework, and analytical approach

  • Coherence, logical structure, and clarity of presentation

  • Relevance to the aims, focus, and scope of the journal

Based on the reviewers’ evaluations, the editorial board may decide to:

  • Accept the manuscript

  • Request minor revisions

  • Request major revisions

  • Reject the manuscript

Authors required to revise their manuscripts will be given a specific timeframe to submit the revised version, accompanied by a point-by-point response to the reviewers’ comments.
